I knew that I could use my experience of building and scaling several successful businesses to create a space specifically designed to help other women succeed in their entrepreneurial journey. As a woman who has spent time at We Work and Regus, I can attest to the fact that these spaces often feel cold and unwelcoming. After months of diving deeper into this issue through research and focus groups, I've discovered that many other women feel the same way.

Looking back on my own journey, I can't help but wonder how different things might have been if I had access to this type of space and staff 11 years ago. It's heartening to see how much of a positive impact The Bakery has had on 10,000 people to date. This is why I'm applying for a grant to help further support this amazing space, so that it can continue to be a haven for womxn globally who need a supportive environment to start and grow.
