Meet Mary Seats, a highly accomplished CEO with an impressive track record of two successful exits under her belt. With extensive experience in scaling businesses, cultivating high-performing teams, and fostering a thriving company culture, Mary has proven her expertise in every facet of running a company. Notably, her marketing agency achieved a remarkable feat in 2020, generating a staggering 16 million in gross revenue without any external investors. Mary has a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by women entrepreneurs. Recognizing the lack of supportive and empowering spaces, Mary embarked on a mission to create The Bakery Cowork—a revolutionary female focused coworking space . Drawing from extensive research and firsthand experiences, Mary founded The Bakery Cowork to provide women entrepreneurs with the resources, community, and programming they need to thrive at every stage of their journey, whether they're starting out, scaling their businesses, or climbing the corporate ladder. With a focus on innovation and a nurturing environment, The Bakery Cowork is set to redefine how women learn, grow, and build successful careers.

The Bakery Cowork is a revolutionary concept that offers female entrepreneurs everything they need to succeed under one roof. Our state-of-the-art coworking space, complete with a photography studio, event space, private offices, and cafe, makes it easy for our members to work, connect, and grow their businesses. We believe that our unique model of Book, Bake, Build sets us apart, letting entrepreneurs take control of their projects or lean on our internal team for support. With the Bakery Cowork as their base, female entrepreneurs can build, bake, and book with ease, safe in the knowledge they have everything they need to succeed. With your support, we can continue to offer this incredible space and community to female entrepreneurs across the country.

The Bakery Cowork is not just a physical location. It's a safe haven created by a woman for womxn. I remember the sleepless nights and the loneliness that came with being a female entrepreneur. Women everywhere are battling fierce inner battles, and their success stories are often glossed over or categorized based on their ethnic background. I knew that I could use my experience of building and scaling several successful businesses  to create a space specifically designed to help other women succeed in their entrepreneurial journey. As a woman who has spent time at We Work and Regus, I can attest to the fact that these spaces often feel cold and unwelcoming. After months of diving deeper into this issue through research and focus groups, I've discovered that many other women feel the same way.

That's why I'm excited to introduce a new kind of multi-use space that caters specifically to the needs of women entrepreneurs. Whether you need a quiet private office, a photography studio, or a podcast room, we've got you covered. Our innovative space is designed with women in mind, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that will help you feel seen and valued as a business owner. With our support, you'll have all the space and resources you need to grow your business and achieve your goals.  As an entrepreneur, I know firsthand the struggles that come with starting a business. The long hours, endless tasks, and uncertain outcomes can make even the most passionate of us question our choices. That's exactly why I invested into making sure The Bakery Cowork Exist, a space that not only provides quality and warmness but also a supportive community to help entrepreneurs thrive. Looking back on my own journey, I can't help but wonder how different things might have been if I had access to this type of space and staff 11 years ago. It's heartening to see how much of a positive impact The Bakery has had on 10,000 people to date. This is why I'm applying for a grant to help further support this amazing space, so that it can continue to be a haven for womxn globally who need a supportive environment to start and grow.
